Tango Video of the Month
For the next few posts I will list my 5 most influential tango performances. These are the tango vids that have had a profound effect on me, expanding my ideas about what is possible, and the reach of expression.

The following video is with Cecilia Garcia and Horacio Godoy. When I first watched this video I couldn't stop rewatching and rewatching. The musicality is brilliant, the dance is incredibly humorous. Just plain incredible.
When I was obsessed with this video (and others with the two of them) it was early days in my tango, so it took a while when years later and living in Buenos Aires (after numerous group lessons) I suddenly realised that the Cecilia I was taking lessons with was the same one from the videos. That was an exciting moment.

This video is a classic. Chicho is a genius, and really took tango to a new level.
